On the first Sunday of the Hill & Valley Exploration Tour, The Ernest Hupeden’s Painted Forest is Hosting Caravan Duo (Christo Ruppenthal and Scott Hlavenka) – a world traveling acoustic, instrumental jazz guitar group from Madison, WI for a free jazz concert!
Caravan Duo is primarily influenced by the legendary French Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. The duo also pulls influence from American and Hot Club Swing, Jazz, Latin, Parisian Waltz, European Folk and other vintage jazz sources.
